I spent a beautiful morning visiting Wisdom House, a retreat center in Litchfield, CT and was treated to a tour by program coordinator, Carol Gould. Before leaving, I walked their magnificent labyrinth and left renewed.
It looks like the perfect spot for a Tapping Prayerfully retreat and workshop.

We turn ourselves into a living indictment to the people who hurt us, because often, when we release our pain, there is a subconscious wrestling with justice that the person who hurt us is being let off the hook.
Consider this possibility. Could courage actually be a greater support for safety than hiding? Courage speaks truth and stays engaged. It reaches out, stays open to possibilities and takes risks for change. If you want to be safe, not just in body but also in spirit, be brave.
This year I celebrated my 40th year in practice. On August 31st, after 36 years in one place, I closed my office door leaving the keys on the desk in with a note of thanks to my now, former landlord. Nearly all my clients came with me into the virtual world of tele-mental health. Most, months before August. Here we will stay for the foreseeable future. I’m so grateful for the trust placed in me.
The use of the word “just” is often intended to simplify and support. Instead, however, it most often winds up implying that something very hard for that individual is easy. That he or she is stupid or lazy or weak if they don’t do it. That there’s something wrong with them. For example, we say…
